Manged to squeeze in 3 fast days this week. Sunday (26th), Tuesday (28th) and Thursday (30th). My first 3 day week this year.

Twenty Sixth Weigh In

My twenty fifth weigh in – I weighed in at

87.0 Kg (13.7 stone) – Jan 17th

Body Fat Percentage – 27.4%

Body Water Percentage – 54.3%

BMI – 27.2

and this week

87.2 Kg (13.73 stone) – Jan 24th

Body Fat Percentage – 27.3%

Body Water Percentage – 54.4%

BMI – 27.2

I managed to actually slightly increase my weight despite fasting. One thing maybe to consider is that I was unable to do any exercise this week due to the place being iced over. Hopefully I can get some indoor exercise time next week.

Twenty Fifth Weigh In

So, January 17th, 28 days after my last weigh in and a whole lot of rich food and alcohol..

My twenty fourth weigh in – I weighed in at

83.9 Kg (13.21 stone) – Dec 20th

Body Fat Percentage – 25.3%

Body Water Percentage – 55.9%

BMI – 26.2

and 28 DAYS LATER (hey, that’s a film)

87.0 Kg (13.7 stone) – Jan 17th

Body Fat Percentage – 27.4%

Body Water Percentage – 54.3%

BMI – 27.2

Ouch, half a stone weigh gain!  Guess its to be expected after such a long holiday and it might actually go up a bit again I think before it starts to come down. Looking forward to getting the scales moving in the right direction again.

I’m Back!

Well that was certainly longer than expected. 34 days since I last posted here! What happened?

OK, so on the 20th of December I went to my family home for the holidays and returned to my own home on Dec 3oth. After that there were of course some new year festivities to deal with. I decided Id go back to my regular work/fast day/exercise routine on January 6th (allowing myself a few extra days holiday – perks of being your own boss)

However by Jan 6th, Id come down with a serious case of the flu and spent the week coughing and wheezing with a serious fever which meant my normal routine was put off for another week. I finally got back to fasting on the 14th and 16th however my cold returned (had never fully left) on the 19th which meant I actually did do a fast day on the 2oth as I didn’t feel like eating anything.

Anyway I’m still getting better and trying to put in fast days where I can. This place has also become completely iced over this week which will make exercise difficult but will hopefully work something out.

So its taken a while but I should be fully back on track from here on (I hope).

and this week

83.9 Kg (13.21 stone) – Dec 20th

Body Fat Percentage – 25.3%

Body Water Percentage – 55.9%

BMI – 26.2

so after seemingly stagnating for a bit, I’m delighted to lose 1 kg this week. I felt like it was coming as I was actually feeling lighter during previous weeks but it just wasn’t showing on the scale.

10 day Christmas break now which as I’m sure you can imagine will cause some weight issues. Back to it again in the New Year. See you then!

Body Water Percentage – 55.7%

BMI – 26.4

and TWO weeks later

84.9 Kg (13.36 stone) – Dec 13th

Body Fat Percentage – 25.8%

Body Water Percentage – 55.4%

BMI – 26.5

That’s quite disappointing – 2 weeks with fast days and a WEIGHT GAIN!, particularly as I felt this week was really good with loads of exercise and sensible eating on non fast days. It feels like I’m stagnating a little at the moment but from reading forums I believe that’s quite normal so I’m not too downhearted about it.

I have just one week now before the Christmas break and it would be nice to head into that with a decent weight loss to report. On a plus note I tried on a few t shirts this week that were stuck to me just two months ago and now I could actually wear them in comfort. Stuff like that really gives me motivation to keep going with this.
